By strange software I mean games that are not RPGMAKER, Unity, Renpy etc. My PC doesn't recognize the program in the sound controller and as a result I can't hear shit. If anyone has any idea what's going on, you'd do me a big favor.
Some games don't have any music/sound because "they're betas", saw it happen with Ren'Py, too.
If it happens only with some games made with unknown engines, and only for nsfw games, it could be that they're excluded for having no audio data.

The games I tried and had this error have settings for audio. Also sometimes there are games from the engines that I mentioned before that also do not have audio, now I was trying House Party which is a Unity game and does not have audio either.
Assuming the sound isn't sent elsewhere (check sound manager), i'd just try updating the drivers or reinstalling them, especially if the issue started happening recently.
I...........I can't uninstall or update the drivers, the update and delete buttons are blocked. This shit is very strange, I'm going to try updating the graphics drivers, maybe that's it.
