Thinking about making a VN

I've been considering developing an adult themed VN for a while now. Still trying to come up with a story. Seems everything has been done before but maybe I just ignore that and make something I would personally be interested in. But anyway... the reason I wanted to make this post is that I was curious if animation (sex scenes) is required. I use Daz and it's tedious as fuck and time consuming to do animations with it. So I guess I was wondering would people still be interested in a VN that didn't have animation.

I would say bad animations detract from an experience more than no animations. Personally, I don't mind no animations as long as I like the rest of the game.

Dude your character Jennifer is absolutely stunning! I would love a VN with her as the main love interest. not a big incest fan and I hate NTR/NTS. I would love to see her lead a harem. I think an office setting would be perfect for her as like a supervisor to a new employee MC. YOU DO AMAZING WORK

As you say,
make a story with something you personally are interested in,
as long as the story is really good,the renders are really well done,
it doesn't matter if there are animations in it.

I like the Jennifer model, but she's young enough that for a mom figure I think she'd only work for shota.
She seems too good of a model to waste on an older sister.
Shame.
