I'm curious too since there's no news of an update since the progress report on the 9th.
If you don't see an update post on any of the devs sites then there's no update.
Maybe the op had a typo, maybe their cat peed on the keyboard, maybe the added or removed an upload link

Hopefully this one doesn't make the retarded mistakes that the first one did, but judging from the description it sounds like they already have.

My biggest problem with 3C was that leaning into sex equals betraying your friends and becoming a brainless bimbo.

I think a lot of sex game story writers have a bit of a madonna whore complex in that women loving sex and loving deviant sex, gets conflated with some supervillain shit.

What would have been great in the first 3C would have been for Jenna to be her own woman and make her own perverted choices regardless of whether or allies and friends approved of it or found it disturbing.

Everytime that Jenna was subjected to forced compulsion in order to explain her sexually deviant indulgences was a missed opportunity for Jenna to express her own sexual deviant.

Some of the hottest stories out there are the result of naturally slutty heroines who are straight laced public faces, but are extremely sexually deviants in their private lives.

This doesn't magically turn women into supervillains who will betray their friends. Women love sex, love to fantasize about being dominated, submitting, rough treatment, being used, giving men powerful urges and being taken by their uncontrollable passion. Women at least love the fantasy of this. Irl this stuff would be terrifying but in games, like books, we're just reading a story, theres no risk involved.

I really wish that Jenna's agency to be a perverted slut was separate from her morality, or her being made to betray her friends. And in this game again you can already tell from the stupid ahegao face and quote about the GAG towers that Zoey's sexual agency is going to be once again through magical forced compulsion of magical horny 5G...

Okay, but- You're playing a story about a character. The character in question is not a sexual deviant. You talk about "Women love to fantasize about being dominated, submitting, rough treatment" etc etc - and that is, in your words, a retarded mistake. There are women who love to fantasize about this, it is not all women. The character you're talking about is not a sexual deviant, and does not fantasize about men dominating her. She's literally a lesbian. Another retarded mistake on your part.
What you're upset about is not a developer's 'mistake', you're upset about your own misunderstanding. Shutcha dumbass up dude.

Come on, even I (male) who identifies himself as dominant found the 1st game good. I haven't tried this one waiting for more content but Im sure it plays the same. If you don't like it, don't play it. This site hosts a lot of other games you may find more suitable to your tastes. Criticisms should be done to improve something that is wrong (like a broken mechanic, or even bad writing), not to change the game's creator tastes just to fit yours.

I really love the art & design. The voice acting of our heroine is nice, I like her voice. There are a few lines where the tone doesn't quite fit (a bit overdramatic at times) but overall it's pretty good. I am also glad they don't hold back with the gay stuff. I am not particularly into it but it fits the theme.

I wish the corruption would happen slower though even when you are voyeuristic and choose a sluttier approach. Showing the gangbang right at the start, even if it's a dream sequence, is just...ugh. What's the point? Where's the suspense? Let's hope they find a better balance between using the horny blocker and giving into the urge. I'd love to see some sort of edgerunner playthrough where she becomes the best toy on the market while staying anonymous through her netrunner skills.

BTW there's a bug, I think: when you use the blocker before being told so, you cannot use it again as it as only one charge. You're going to be stuck in the room in an endless loop.

The visuals and gameplay is a huge step up. Really liked the demo, can't wait for an update or full version.

It has been a while, but I am almost certain I remember Jenna is bi.

I think this comment is pretty astute, especially the reference to the Madonna-Whore complex, and I agree with you that it will be pretty disappointing if the next Third Crisis title has the same high-quality art and assets but retreads the exact same thematic ground as the first entry, just with a different-looking heroine. You're right that the genre is suffused with that binary thinking portraying women as either pure-hearted Mother Mary who remain virginal even after giving birth, or whores who've had sex and therefore are incapable of doing anything except selling out their morals and very identity for cock. Sexual deviance and general moral evil need not be conflated like this, but so often these games do just that, to the point that it's expected. Third Crisis at least has writing devoted to working out why this effect is happening in the fiction; many of these other titles do not. Either they wave their hands and say "it's sci-fi/fantasy" (more on that below), or they just take it as assumed that sex and villainy are intrinsically linked and often wind up straining credulity because of how ludicrous sex's 'corrupting' effects are portrayed compared to reality (as well as often being pretty misogynistic). It seems like part of the issue is even in the genre's name: "corruption" is a pretty loaded term, after all, one that often refers to degradation of private and public morality as well as sexual licentiousness. The kind of stories you describe in subsequent replies (or say what you'd like to see) seem to have similar plot elements but different themes, focusing on sexual self-discovery and learning to utilize sexuality as a tool instead of being mastered by it. It's definitely an interesting dynamic that is underexplored (at least in the higher-production end, clearly there's a RenPy real-porn title for everything). Sadly, "self-exploration" is not a tag on this site...

I think the people who are pushing back on you are correct in the specific, that this implementation of the (very large!) corruption genre clearly appeals to a submissive fantasy playing around with the concept of loss of control, of which Third Crisis is a well-executed example. It's an element I personally like, and it's good that people have high-effort games to play with that dynamic. However, when seemingly every entry that explores this theme inevitably funnels towards "having sex is rewarding but makes you uncaring, weak, and/or evil", it becomes really tiresome and stale. Not every entry makes an effort to do the necessary worldbuilding to establish WHY having sex has this effect and makes it an integral part of the villain's agenda (like Third Crisis at least tried to do). That's necessary for making these games any good and worth exploring, rather than just being fresh coats of paint on the same old tired and mediocre chassis.

The fact that it plays the same is the whole point of their comment. Why want more of the same instead of something new? And it's not a guarantee that "a lot" of other games actually DO suit their tastes, given that the substance of their issue is that corruption games as a genre tend towards the same simplistic "no sex is good/having sex is evil" binary. Having played a fair amount of games in this genre over the years, I think that's an accurate assessment, and I'd add that Anduo Games are clearly skilled-enough writers and artists that they are capable of innovating on that dynamic as well.

What are you, the emperor? Criticism of the writing direction is a totally valid form of critique, and people do it all day every day on this site and many others. The creator is making a product for public consumption in exchange for money, not a private program solely to indulge their own tastes. Critique of the product being offered is a necessary component of consumers' engagement with the product, and critiques of theme and writing direction can even lead to direct improvement of the product, in this case by opening up a route that allows for sexual deviance without siding with the antagonist faction, which would add more content.

Not to mention that criticisms of others' tastes is ALSO an incredibly common form of engagement on this site, and one that is not limited solely to game-creators...
