Yeah, was more to give a rough idea.
If those numbers to be trusted, 3090 is going to be an absolute monster.

Out of budget for most, but we can guess it's basically like twin RTX Titans plus change.

The parts list for seathblack here is good enough as it is, though, considering the budget constraints.
nVidia really did a good one for hobbyist 3D artists this time around.

Just a lil question...
Most of you are saying VRAM is the most important ...So why no one talks about the Radeon VII with 16GB VRAM?
Dont get me wrong,i always had Nvidia but i`m not a fanboy or so...
I always had iCore CPU´s but now AMD is much more better...
Yes the new Nvidia GPU look like monsters, but even the 3080 has only 10GB,2080ti has 12GB...
Is it really only the VRAM or Shader and CUDA cores too?And maybe GDDR6X RAM?

It's about rendering in Daz, Daz uses iray, iray is Nvidia, AMD gpu's won't work.

I appreciate everything guys.
So im assuming i still have to spend another 110 on windows 10 OS.
This build is costing me more than just buying a premade.
Also, if i dont go with the 3070, what is a decend replacement? Ive seen beauitful renders and animation from by in 2018, so i know there has to be some decent gpu since then.
Thanks again everyone
If you have an existing licence for Windows 7 or 8, you should be able to upgrade to 10 for nothing.

I mean this is a pirate site ,i guess he should be able to download the actual WIN10 ISO from official windows site...pirate keys work...even he is resistant to use them, you can buy legit keys for around 2-3$,right?
What i mean is,you "I`m Not Thea Lundgren!" are right...
No issue for dont getting WIN10 for free...
To the OP:
i guess a used 1080ti should work for you...1080ti has 11GB VRAM...
But here are pro`s who know what they do...Maybe its only VRAM,then the 1080ti is enough...If VRAM+GDDR (5,6,newX6) + CUDA/Shader are more important listen to the pro`s ;)

I think the previous posts pretty well nailed it. In a nutshell :

- an Nvidia video card, with as many cuda cores possible.
- fastest processor you can afford. AMD Ryzen's work fine.
- at least 8gb on the board for single character scenes. 16gb minimum if you want to load 2-3 characters at the same time.

and an (optional) m2 hard drive, to speed things up a bit if possible.

You can run Daz with more than 1 video card. You do NOT hardware them up together (link, bridge whatever).
