Knowing their Spine skeleton complexity plus physics module, I'd say that's a lot of work just for a CG.

I haven't really been into hentai games for a while but Sinistar 2 really blew me away so figured I'd give this one a shot since it was recommended. Have to be honest, like most hentai games, this felt like more trouble than it was worth. Had great themes, great animations, but it's too much a game and not enough of a porno and too clunky at times. Wanted to restart and set it on the super mega ez mode difficulty because it's literally a rogue-lite and I can't enjoy the scenes without taking damage and getting sent back to the beginning of the game, forced into fighting all the same monsters whose scenes I'd already seen. Only to find not only is there only one save file, but that you can't delete it and start fresh. I'm sure it's located on my PC somewhere and I can just delete it and start again with gooner mode activated, but at that point I'm doing too much just to fap, and I went elsewhere to get my fap instead.
I'll probably try it again at some point but I hate that devs feel the need to do this weird bullshit. It's a gooner game, why is there no gallery and why are you resetting my progress entirely on an L?

Yeah, resetting the progress is very annoying and does not make any sense at all. Visually though, in my opinion, this is probably the best or one of the best side-scroller for visuals. Have you tried Lab Still Alive or Lab Underground 2? Or Untainted Girl and Empress Hostage H? Sometimes I go back to these just for the simplicity.

Lose to porn is a garbage, nonsensical game design. It's lazy and simply does not work. The only way it makes sense is if you can still win by losing like in KP but if that's the case the game must push you to lose that way, it should never be up to player initiative.
This game is the worst of both roles. Lose to see porn in a game that heavily punishes you from losing.

RN your options are basically play on easy for a boring, trivial experience where you can actually see the scenes, or play on hard for somewhat of a game where you are drastically punished for trying to get off. The maps are also too big, have dead ends that are slow to backtrack from, and there is nowhere near enough variety to justify being a roguelike.
Cheapest fix would be to have clearly marked knockdown attacks and scenes that both do no damage; and to let the player teleport to any cleared room. And maybe also mix up the order of the areas and the enemy variety between plays.

You learn how to program, make art, sound effects, and create animations so that it will be done to your exact standards when you feel it is ready. Would be the easiest way to ensure your update is where you want it.
