Great question — here’s the clearest way to describe what Through The Lens is building toward.


THE VISION

Through The Lens is a character-driven erotic drama told through two perspectives:


  • Jake — the photographer, exploring desire, boundaries, and artistic ambition
  • Alex — his best friend and co-protagonist, whose POV adds jealousy, identity, and emotional weight

I’m not aiming for “all the tags.”
I’m aiming for a mature, intimate story where choices and relationships matter.


Think Our Red Strings structure meets A24-style intimacy.


CONFIRMED CONTENT

You can expect:


  • Lesbian content (Alex/Stella + expansion depending on route)
  • Futa protagonist (Alex is a full co-MC, not a side fetish)
  • BDSM/Bondage (consensual, emotional, rooted in character)
  • Exhibitionism & Voyeurism (linked to photography & club settings)
  • MFF threesomes (route-dependent, not “everyone with everyone”)
  • Corruption arcs (Emily’s storyline gradually evolves)
  • Poly-aware paths (some characters harmonize, others don’t)
  • Photography as gameplay (framing, editing, portfolio choices)
  • Dual POV chapters (Jake mainline + Alex emotional perspective)

Everything appears only when it makes sense for the story.
No random tag dumping.


WHAT THE GAME WON’T INCLUDE

  • No NTR
  • No incest
  • No forced harem
  • No fetish checklist scenes

Some routes simply conflict — that’s intentional.


ABOUT v0.1a (COMING SOON)

Players have only seen Jake’s perspective so far.
v0.1a introduces the first Alex POV chapter, giving you her emotional side of the same events and setting the tone for the dual-protagonist structure moving forward.


This update also strengthens the foundations for branching without overwhelming new players.

Usually not one for mobile-style games, but this one checks a lot of the right boxes. Kudos!

Q: Is Alex an LI, or just a co-MC? The answer above doesn't expand on that part.

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been finalizing the full Through The Lens narrative Bible, which now gives me a complete view of all ten chapters. The vision is finally locked and coherent.

About Alex

To answer your question without spoiling anything:

Alex is both a co-MC and a potential love interest.
Her role is dual:

She has her own POV chapters, running parallel to Jake’s.

And depending on how players navigate the story, she can develop into a genuine romantic path.


Nothing is forced — the player’s choices and empathy will shape how close Jake and Alex become.

Alex is written as intersex (with the “futa” tag mainly for F95 clarity), but her identity is handled in a grounded and human way. She’s not there as a fetish or a gimmick. She’s an essential part of the emotional core of the story.

Her arc properly begins in v0.1a, which is why the current build doesn’t show much yet.

About the Vision

Now that the Bible is complete:

all 10 chapters are planned

character arcs are interconnected

Alex, Vanessa, Sophia, and Madison each represent a different facet of intimacy

Chapters 0 and 1 already form a strong narrative foundation (~50k words each)

and the tone of the game is now fully consistent moving forward


TTL isn’t a “pick-a-girl” VN; it’s more about how desire, vulnerability, photography, and personal choices shape your relationships over time.
But yes — you will be able to choose who Jake moves toward, and Alex is absolutely one of those paths.
