So, I have not played the game. Instead I just started with reading the thread (since I noticed a Futa + the Male Protag tag which for me is usually enough of a reason to steer clear). It seems to me that you have plans to dabble in a lot of different fetishes, and while that can be one way to have "something for everyone" it also seems like an easy way to "Shoot yourself in the foot" as they say. By that I mean you will also have things the are "turn offs" for almost everyone.

I just wanted to purpose an elegant solution to that issue that you may find is worth the effort to implement. Simply put, you could add a "Fetish Selector" to the start of the game. Allow the players to either select the fetishes they enjoy, or the ones they want to avoid, and then the game will either "grey out" (making it impossible to select the options that would lead to the fetishes they want to avoid), or at least "Mark" (recolor/label/ect.) those options.

I think this approach will make the players more comfortable trying the game without feeling like they are at risk of being exposed to fetishes they would prefer to avoid.

With that out of the way I have some input on your question about mini games vs/and additional resources "affection, hunger, and money".

Personally I think that mini games are only really enjoyable if you play the same one regularly throughout the game (so that you can learn the game, and work your way up to harder versions) otherwise they tend to feel like "artificially gamifying" a VN for no reason. If you want it to feel more like a Video Game, vs a Visual Novel, then you need to build the entire experience with that in mind. I imagine the game would be better without them (again having not played yet).

As for additional resources...the thought process is similar. Is this adding to the experience? Is this a meaningful way of controlling pacing? Does this have a purpose? If you are just adding them because others do then you likely don't need them. I think something like "Energy" (per day), and/or "Times of day" (Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night being the simplest, commonly used, form of this) are reasonable for VNs. Of course if there is no time constraints (or character schedules) then these too become frivolous systems.

Well, now that I already wrote an entire wall of text I might as well give my input on the only other meaningful question I saw. The one about animation size. Almost nobody cares about file size if it means they get a higher quality experience (usually file size complaints have to do with improper file types for images that mean the end user is getting the SAME experience at a higher file size), BUT if the trade off for larger animations/images is that the development time is inflated significantly then I think more people would lean in the direction of lower dev time as long as the animations/images are still of a functional size/quality.

Anyways, I took the time to read the thread, and to write this rather large response, because the art style seems compelling (and the image of the blonde in front of the laundry machine). I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and from there I will see if this seems worth keeping an eye on. As of now there are too many fetishes I would want to avoid. However, I wish you the best of luck with your game!

Hello and thank you for the suggestions.
On the topic of fetishes, each girl's story will be independent from each other and there is not a main storyline so you can just pick and play the girl you like. We tried to make each girl tied to a fetish so the people who do not like certain fetishes can choose to not play that girl's event. In the info screen about the girls you can see their "tags" which basically tells you which fetish each girl is focusing on. Other than that we are thinking of implementing colors or text to the choices to tell the player what each route is about.
As there is not a main storyline right now you have the ability to play whichever girl and event you want, so I think that should be close to what you want.
From what we have seen from the reactions, people seem to have similar opinions about the minigames. Do not put it in or add the option to skip it if it is not thought out well or is a main gameplay loop. For now we will be focusing more on adding more events and content. Maybe when things are set in stone we can think about adding a main gameplay loop.
Thank you for your suggestions and opinions.

Well, sounds like you have at least thought about all of these things. I will DL the game and see what it is like even though there seems to be a lot I will be avoiding.

Thanks for your time, and good luck with the games development.

Ok, I gave the game a try. I will just start with what I wrote in my personal notes.

Played - 0.31 (Finished 3 characters)

Gameplay - VN, and without much content/choices as of yet.

Visuals - Reasonable quality, not much quantity.

Story/Writing - Pacing was too fast, seems the story just skipped the part where you build the relationship with the LI's, and instead just jumps you into the first time you get some action (and gives you a fork in the road). Nothing too compelling, and nothing too bad...other then the pacing.

Other Notes - Had to avoid half the cast do to fetish issues. Likely not worth it if the game sticks with 6, and I avoid 3.

Plan/Conclusion - Wait for completion, or a large amount of progress, if you want to try it again. Otherwise it's no big loss. I checked the files for the other characters content and it wasn't any better so you're not missing much.

Overall, if the plan is to rapid fire the events, and just aim for high volume long term, then I guess this a REAL quick example of the plan. I'm finding it a bit hard to imagine that there will be enough content (in the final product) if the pacing stays as it is, or at least if you don't want the content to feel too same-ish.

Either way, good luck in the future.

P.S. After trying the game I can't imagine what could possibly be the point in mini games, or any kind of resource/time management with this pacing.

AI CG? Really!? This looks so good! It seems AI art is really improving! Or maybe I'm misunderstanding where the AI art is being used XD
You can make it look good if you know and wanna spend time with it. Unfortunately the popular way of using it is low quality, effort so AI CG's by default get a bad name.
