Hey everyone!

I'm currently working on my own game and recently started using DAZ Studio to create characters.
It’s been a huge help — but also brought a lot of issues, especially when it comes to animation and rigging in 3ds Max.

After a lot of trial and error, I realized that building my own tools was easier than endlessly searching for workarounds — especially since there’s almost nothing available for CAT rig users in Max.

So here’s my question:
Would tools like this be useful or interesting to the community?

✅ Transfer DAZ characters to a CAT rig in 3ds Max
✅ Quickly scale CAT characters to match DAZ proportions
✅ A full tutorial on importing, rigging, skinning, and animating DAZ characters in Max

For now, I’d like to share the first working tool from this toolkit:

CAT Scaler — instantly resize your CAT rigs with a simple UI.

P.S. I'm not a programmer — just a solo game developer trying to make things work.
These scripts were only tested on my own machine, but they genuinely help me in daily production.
If anything breaks or acts weird — let me know! I’d be happy to improve things with your feedback.

Would tools like this be helpful in your workflow?
Let me know what you think!

I've been bouncing around this forum for several years now and I can count the number of 3dsmax users I have encountered on one hand. The only things I know about 3dsmax is that it's a very expensive "pro" tool and unless you've worked in a AAA game studio you probably will never have the opportunity to learn how to use it.

I don't event know what a "CAT" is - some sort of 3dsmax tool?
