Thank you for your advice, but that doesn't work either. Installing and running that does take me to the menu for Version DEV, where I can look into every option besides playing, but trying to play the game in browser just has a blank black screen. And the official site launches into talking about Python, Electron, and local servers just to make a build executable, which seems more convoluted than what you describe.

there's troubleshooting page in the launcher. it says:

actually you can solve it without developers, just use the information given in the console tab to find the cause of the problem

Alright. Downloading from front page gives the game as an application that crashes with white screen before ever loading. Downloading from the official site gives an HTML file that does give access to the main menu, but trying to play the game just goes to a black screen. Opening the console provides:

Please try to download and ensure you have a compatible browser if not the built in "player" should let you play the game. Check the pixiv account.

Honest wish we can easy edit body types and faces vs that hard manual edit thing.
