Alright, I'm going to nip all this in the bud right now.
Park After Dark is our main project and our first priority. It is still in development and will be releasing the next update before the end of the year.
A little more than a year ago, the artist for that game got a full-time job and their availability became severely limited. This is why updates have slowed and have generally less content than earlier ones. Our second game, Magixxx Conquest, was started specifically to help fill in the gaps and still provide something to our patrons and other fans while they waited. This game brought on a brand new artist and gave the rest of the team something to work on while we waited for PAD content to be ready.
Unfortunately, that second artist turned out to be a scammer. They gave us one and a half good updates, then disappeared off the face of the earth, taking our commission money with them. Even before that, they were unreliable at best, and lied about their animation skills, which is why the update we were able to release took as long as it did. Magixxx Conquest is dead because the whole experience left a bad taste in all of our mouths and we decided to move onto something else rather than try and replace the artist.
So instead we went full-steam ahead on a third project. The artist we are commissioning now put the whole game together in a little over two months: all 26 characters, 20+ backgrounds, scenes, minigame art, etc. and we have a very good working relationship with them. Unfortunately we still can't control the whims of artists, but since this one takes commissions full-time, we don't anticipate the same issues we've had in the past.
All of this is information we've made public before.
