He didn't skip it. That challenge is in the episode after the Talent Show, so it should be the next update. Also, according to the walkthrough, the eliminations will occur in the same order as the show (kinda disappointing, but I understand as it helps keep things from being too complicated). The votes will only matter if you're on the chopping block, so make sure to keep enough of the other campers' approval above 70

Any tips on how to deal wtih this please? Been having this for a month now and can't progress. Its for any week 4 content.

See I tried that too and it still just stops working there for me. I think I might have to scrub clean every data of it in my Roaming folder. Hopefully that works.

I would rather they finish one or two characters paths before starting on others. The way the game is set up you already need multiple playthroughs to get every characters scenes so it would be better to have at least one path finished in case the game gets abandoned.
