Appearently his patreons asked for "lovers mode" and he is working on that now lol.
I mean nothing against it as long as they keep the regular one in too. But I'm not a fan of him doing that instead of the usual stuff.
And the patreon who bring that idea up said that in this game characters were supposed to be lovers and friends. Yeah totally, that's why they are in chains and original kasumi was rape themed as well sigh. But they are paying for it not me so it is not fair of me to rant. If he abandons the rape theme completely I will just play the old version.

Exactly my point, there would be no hoops to jump through or copyrights to tiptoe around with original characters. I get it, he wanted to make it with Kasumi, but wasn't able to get permission to use her for some reason, so he decided to try without permission and got caught. That's not a reason to try again, that's a reason to stop trying and just make it without her.
Either that or he could go through the very long, sometimes painful, and usually VERY expensive process of getting permission IF the copyright holder would even allow her to be used in an H game.
Its logical to think that he will make two separate versions of the game; it would be quite an idiotic decision to throw out the majority of his Patreon donors to make a minority group more comfortable with the game. Also, consensual Bdsm is a very common fetish.
Well, there's also the issue that he risks getting his Patreon shut down entirely because the original intent of the game is a non-consensual situation. The dialogue in all of his projects from the original Kasumi game and the Rebirth version to this game makes it clear that the girl doesn't want what you are doing to her. Patreon doesn't care if she's fake, if it is rape, they shut it down.
Making a version with the girl consenting would throw Patreon off his trail so he can make the original non-consent version without the threat of losing funding AND it could be a way to appease the patrons who don't like rape while still allowing anyone who does to get their version as well.
It's a win-win with the only downside being extra work.

If it was me, I would have added a breaking in mode, where u can make the girl fall in love with you.
What that game needs in my opinion is more poses, new chracters and uniqe voice lines and personlites to the chracters.
But from what I've seen its just a recycle and recycle. The new update was lame(The one with the tounge).
I actually like his style, and hope the pareon useres will push him to create new and original stuff
New voice lines, which would be necessary for unique lines, even with the same voice doing it, can get expensive real fast. At least, assuming the voice is coming from a paid actress and not someone already working with Sawatex on the project as a whole, possibly even the main person behind Sawatex. It isn't exactly uncommon for the lead developer on a porn game to be female and that voice certainly is female.
New personalities would either have to use new voice lines or go unvoiced, so it either leads to an inconsistency in development or to more expenses, again assuming the voice is a paid actress.
New characters seems to be something he is working on to an extent, we have multiple different appearances already. However, as I said before on characters, he's playing with fire if he uses existing characters and either needs to work on getting permission or on original characters.
Poses will probably come in time, the developer needs time to make them.
As for the patrons pushing for original stuff, that's not the only factor to consider. Sawatex may be doing it this way because they want to, developers have to enjoy what they do or quality suffers and enjoyment means doing what they want to whether it is in line with patrons or against them.
