Have you guys noticed that every warden is like 40 years or something? That means that Rose is brainwashed because she is not that old.
I liked to think that Rose's involvement, as well as Lily being imprisoned when we first meet her, is because whoever manages the tower at the highest level is slowly trying to integrate youthful females, those who are in their prime, to replace the older women as it's time they go to retire in a mansion full of servant boys as thanks for their services over the years as tower wardens, and mercenaries apparently. Maybe at one point, they were in a similar situation to Lily and using the power of the "naga pearl" or whatever it's called, I've forgotten by now, they were given their own respective floors to design however they wished, like Lily now has.
Retirement for characters like Jessica wouldn't be such a bad thing, and she could be replaced by someone much more appealing. It wouldn't really be represented in the game but canonically, it's nice to think about so that the next shipment of boys to be trained after Ethan are not so badly tormented by that monstrosity should any of them have the
honor of meeting her.
In my headcanon, since this game is never going to conclude, I see Ethan 'rescuing' Rose while they escape the tower together since they seem to have a relationship prior to his arrival. Lily would also escape to start her own dojo or something. I always thought ToT had the potential for spinoffs, a sequel, or a prequel if only there were better developers for the game. Too bad Bo-Wei hates Lily (and probably Rose) because of his aunty and MILF fetish otherwise maybe a sequel could have Lily starting her own dojo with a captured Ethan (he becomes master of his own dojo versus hers and he loses?) and we'd play a different character who now has to try and rescue Ethan. That's just my own personal fantasy.
