If you go to sleep as Crow without deciding the handicaps yourself the game will auto pick them so to male the fight easier just make sure to use the sweat one..its by far the easiest handicap to deal with.

What are Koda's latest empty promises going into 2022?
Also, did he go back on his idea to turn Ethan into a mindless self insert? Ethan is one of the best h game main characters in terms of his character and attitude. Despite going down to a woman's feet he's a good protagonist that I think a lot of us can relate to. Plus he only goes down so easily because he's challenging women powerful enough to capture the dojo leaders themselves.

Last time I mentioned it to him he got aggressive and didn't want to talk about it; I think a snowball has a better chance in hell than Ethan does getting his voice back

Just ask yourself, what else could it be?? Why would he stop writing the MC with a personality, both inner monologue and dialogue altogether?
What could really be the reason for something that was there from the beginning of the game just disappearing all of a sudden without any sort of explanation?
C'mon, people. This isn't the case of some game developer with an unwavering commitment to his vision. This is Koda.

While it might actually be a stylistic choice on his part to neuter Ethan's personality, most probably this is as another excuse to actually delay an update (with the excuse of "rewriting story")>
To be honest, donno' what some people be smokin' around here, Ethan wasn't the star of the show in terms of personality, not even among other Porn/Fetish games or other such games developed by individual Developers. But in all honesty, even then, any personality or depth is better than none, myself I actually hate Blank Slate characters in more story-centered games, it ruins the actual story in the attempt at having the flexibility for the Blank Slate to be reasonable within the plot.
BoDa really should be attempting at releasing something first before even thinking of rewrites (in the impossible off-chance they actually genuinely still care about this game)

It's a weird stylistic choice. Seems helped along by laziness. Idiotic either way to change the tone mid-stream imo. We've discussed it a few times on-and-off and even this conversation went on for a bit longer, but I feel like this is probably the core of it, with the added note that he later said that it's tedious to embellish everything (both reading and writing), and it's just a difference of philosophy. Personally I think it's trash and I follow this thread only for the amusement value now, as the game itself has soured on me with this and other stuff. I'd like to think he'd get more heat for the death of Ethan but eh.

I read this, remember Bowei calling Koda the best at the thing he does(whatever that may be: writing, delays, pissing people off, not doing anything, etc) and I thank whichever deity you would in this situation. because I could not join their patreon when they released 5th floor.

honestly, it's something that I really don't care about.. anyway there is nothing wrong with adding dialogue of that type, so if I were in koda I would have accepted the advice in a constructive way...
Fine if Koda prefers a player self-insert type of protagonist, but it's a bit too late to change approach halfway in. Instead it simply makes later content seem less fleshed out. A character that once spoke simply doesn't now for no reason. The story could have tried to justify anything for it. Maybe as Ethan ascends the tower he loses in confidence and is now more of a simple subject to be acted upon by the Mistresses, rather than an equal participant in conversation. But no Koda is just forcing his own preference on everyone in the laziest way.

I think they're just copying another femdom game, where certain options and actions give you different choice in dialogue. Might make the game more immersive/interesting femdom-wise if that's the case.

It's funny the fact that if I count the hours that this game has given me vs the hours of entertainment that you have given me as a community, reading posts, speeches and memes. ToT loses and by the vast majority.
Maybe Boda is a social experiment and the real game is this chat.
