I need one last extra day (yes, I know) and the countdown has been adjusted accordingly. I'm sure you all want to strangle me, but on the upside: I'm really happy with how Cobra's stuff is finally coming together and hope everyone enjoys it just as much.
To quickly answer two common questions:
a) Cobra does have some new CG; I went with a subtler teaser image to avoid spoilers.
b) Bo is still working hard on 7F (and occasionally posts teasers in Discord if you want to search his username) but does not have a date set. I'll catch up with him for a more detailed progress report when I'm done with Cobra.

People keep saying how unreliable Koda is, but in reality he's one of the most predictable people out there. I can answer most update related questions with near certainty.
- "Koda said announced when the update is coming, it's coming out in about a month."
- "No."
- "Koda had a second announcement. After all the update will come out..."
- "No."
- "Another announcement!... no?"
- "No."

- "There's a countdown timer now!"

- "There's another countdown timer! He only extended the deadline by a day yesterday so it's bound to come out on time!"
- "...You have 2 choices. You can either wait a couple hours after the timer goes to 0 to get it as soon as it hits, or wait a day or two extra so more impatient people have playtested the update and Koda has had a chance to post fixes for the bugs found."
I get that there is hype when things are announced, but finding other things to keep you busy so you don't spam refresh is such a quality of life upgrade.

People should really look up a definition of "patron". This isn't a contract job. You are supporting an artist so that they may have the freedom to create. Bitching about it is fine, but at this point it's just way too redundant and unhelpful.

Now you are just complaining about the complaints. I understand where you are coming from and some comments aren't exactly valid or useful criticism. It isn't contract work but right almost 6 months have passed without anything to show for it.
Patrons are paying to give the artists the freedom to create stuff but the artists need to deliver some content. The endless delays and wrong release dates have been quite frustrating to say the least. The content that they have delivered until now is great (in my opinion) and it would be a shame if this projects would fail just because they can't manage their time/release dates.
While my opinion might be worth nothing because I'm leeching and not paying for it like the patrons I at least hope they try to improve their obvious flaw of always delaying their updates. Just my two cents though.

I've criticized it too. There's way more than just criticism, lol.
They aren't just complaints. People are at the point of just flat out insulting the developers, patrons, and accusing the developers of scamming/gross incompetence. Okay; sure, you're not happy about the delays, and there are reasons to be so. But these escalated responses beg the question: what are you still doing in a thread (made for pirating the game that you probably didnt pay for) complaining? Because you're still going to wait and play it anyways -- apparently you're still confident the product is going to be good. Most rational people just shrug and move on to do something productive after voicing disappointment to a new delay.

That's easy, the devs fill a very specific niche, they sort of have a monopoly. That's why no matter how unreliable and incompetent they are, how awful an expansion is going to be, people who are into the kinks that are represented in the game will not lose interest. If there were a lot more games like ToT then a lot more people would have left this boat, that's pretty obvious.
BTW, what you'd call entitlement I'd call respecting yourself and calling out BS. Unless you're talking about the 1-3 comments by trolls/people pissed out of their minds that you guys always cherrypick to make those of us complaining look bad

Obviously. Nobody here is complaining about quality, the complaints are towards the poor work ethic. I don't see what the product being good has to do with anything.

They have a monopoly on a specific fetish for an rpg maker game -- they haven't monopolized the fetish and the ability to jerk off to it. People don't *need* TOT that much. I imagine if there were more competitive games, they'd be too placated to complain and would simply come back to playing once an update came out (the thing that normal people do). Anyways, it's irrelevant and doesn't justify the insults and accusations.

This is like saying that in a world where there's only one company making grape soda, people who want to drink said grape soda but don't like this company should just drink wine instead...
If there were a couple of games as good as ToT but with responsible developers, then people would complain more because of that contrast, not less. If there were was a sea of games like ToT but with responsible developers, then this game's discussions and support would dimish greatly, maybe then you'd get less people complaining about the game, or talking about it at all...

Also, any insults and accusations that are grounded in reality are justified, like saying Bo likes to plagiarize and Koda's word isn't worth anything because he's very irresponsible.

I flat out admit that I overreacted a bit unjustifiably but frankly speaking this countdown timer thing doesn't cut it at all. Everyone knows that there is no obligation to do this. The devs have every right to release updates at times of their own choosing. However that doesn't mean people won't get frustrated after half a year of recurrent holdups.
I won't go on justifying my outburst but there is a feeling that the point of constructive discussion is long past.

And the monopoly comparison isn't faulty at all, some people go even further and say intellectual property itself is akin to a monopoly. If you can't see any similarities then there's something wrong with you.
Your attitude here even proves my point. You don't like seeing discussions about delays, but you still participate in them (even if you do so with sarcastic comments that do nothing but flood the board and attract the mods). You're just like the hypothetical grape soda lover who hates the grape soda company but will still give them money (even if every bill they use to pay for the grape soda has "FUCK YOU GRAPE SODA COMPANY" written in them, makes no difference).
Consumers don't act rationally and neither do you.
