to be honest Warrior guild has potential it's just that there are alot of things that do not feel refined enough for the basic first to see what direction it would take if there will be future updates.
For one the domn/sub mechanic leaves a lot to be desired as it might as well be the same as Kuhalan's dignity mechanic from tower of trample where instead rising the dignity leads to nothing besides better equipment while maintaining that high dignity only leads to a few dialogue changes. In my opinion if this mechanic is going to be a big mechanic used here I believe some more tweaks should be done for example having high dignity as well as high wins over an mistress should get to their head a little bit affecting the battles by making the mistress try to go for more dirty seduction based attacks that become more punishing than falling for them with a high submissive counter. not only that but to further incentivise the player to try to experiment with the domn/sub meter as excluding certain H-scenes to what side the counter is leaning more on. Another way to handle it is with a higher dominance meter the members start to respect you going as far as helping you out a little bit if you are in a pinch with things like money but without too much risk of lowering the meter from domn to sub. Maybe they might even let you get away with certain actions like if Ada (for example had a room) you can smell her boots a little more freely or something.
On the topic of battles I find it baffling that this game does not have a surrender button. Something that games like tower of trample has had for a long time hell despite how pointless I felt it was monster girl quest paradox had a surrender button. the reward of wining battles feel insufficient compared to tower of trample as well as the game had a ranking system giving you better rewards depending on how well you performed. I kinda understood the reason for removing ranks since lvling up is now done via a guy at the bottom right corner of the guild but at least give me more money if I perform better. Just like tower if trample I tried doing a more pure save but it really feels impossible doing that since the money I am given is not enough for strengthening myself in anyway possible.
Let's do the math here to better explain myself, at the end of a fight you get 200g the fee to battle anyone is 100g and depending on your current condition after the battle since you do not heal back up after a fight regardless of the outcome you have to pay an extra 50g to heal yourself. Which leaves you with almost 50g after most battles that is not enough to level you up, or get better weapons this at best gives you 1 potion. Better gear (minus the submissive type gear which are all 100g at the moment) ranges from the 400s. May I remind you that the guild members get stronger after every victory you have over them. So now I am in a static limbo where I will almost always be stuck at 200g because believe it or not that 1 potion could make the difference in battles especially against ada and her boots healing thing. Also of note I cannot verify this but I cannot sell anything so.....what the hell? You're eventually going to have to lower that dom meter by polishing maggie's heels or shine the guildmaster's boots just to make a quick buck. Once again since there aren't alot of rewards for increasing that domination meter what stops you from abusing these methods of getting money and reap the benefits of having a high sub meter?
Going back to the domn/sub meter for a second, you know it is sad when the sub gear is somewhat better than the domn gear (if I had to guess the sub gear is supposed to be an easy mode for those who suck...however if you want those H-scenes you're gonna have to throw these battles anyway?) but as dumb as it sounds I am somewhat of a cautious fan of this idea as the more dominant you become you are getting better gear but said gear does not give you any crazy advantages against the girls while the sub gear allows for more dirty play on your part as you get things like the muzzle that makes you immune to ada's boot smell but you cannot use items which is a fair and clever trade off. The problem here is that the sub equipment is alot cheaper and better to use in most scenarios maybe make it so that wearing the gear nerfs the rapid climb up from submissive to dominant and buff how much submissive interaction effects your meter giving the player a reason to stop using the gear overtime.
The last thing I want to pick out is the guild itself which is kind of uninteresting. What they should have done was adding individual rooms for the fighters these rooms shouldn't be like tower of trample's floors but more like downtime areas for the girls this is a guild after all. This should be places where we get some expanded understandings of the girls with certain objects in that room leading to different scenes. Going back to tower of trample, the game uses a tower as the main setting as as you climb up the tower the rooms become more and more absurd as you climb them giving the player a small glimpse of the warden's personality through the decor alone. I shall use my two favorite wardens as an example for the moment which is Yvonne and Lady Cobra. Yvonne's room isn't that spectacular especially since the warden before her Scarlet had a very similar set up but just like Scarlet, Yvonne mainly came here to degrade and toy with the boys she encounters using them as sandbags or boot/foot slaves which shows you why she doesn't have an actual sandbag showing her opinion (or lack-thereof) on the men she encounters. While on the other hand, Lady Cobra has more of an aristocratic theme going on as the prisoners have cells that are not as refurbished as her own room. May I remind you that on the same floor, Lady Cobra has a nice looking room with a bed and a desk with the only warden who came close to a room that nice was Eliza with her own church and desk. Compare this to the one room guild that barely shows any personality or tells me anything about the warriors there it may be full of life but the room itself is as interesting as an unpolished Jrpg made with the rpg maker engine on Dlsite.
Overall Warrior guild is somewhat lackluster and does not feel too much promising especially since the people behind it are known for their slow as hell development schedule. I could hark on the other small problems I have here like the uninteresting protagonist as well as the massive quality difference between the first two warriors, the third warrior, the extras in the guild and the shop keeper but this shit is already too long and I doubt you guys want to read anymore than this (if you are reading this complaint at all and not skipping through).
Final thoughts on this project in general: I came in to Warrior guild believing it will be in a similar situation to Siren's Domain and how they cycle with both Town of Passion and Zombie's Retreat when it comes to updates you know to give the team time to think about future ideas and prevent the main guys behind it all from getting creative fatigue. Hopefully this will be a similar case but I won't hold my breath.
