I only brought that up because, yes, she would want to be near her kids and miss them terribly when they were not with her, but (and this is a mighty big but) she would not want Lester near them. Yes, she feels empathy toward Lester when he realizes that he would never be a close family member with her children, but she also has some pragmatism and that would lead her to know that her kids should not be near her and Lester, when they are together and if she split from Dan, Lester being near them would be a no go. The best chance she would have is for Dan to get majority, but not locking her out. She might make a deal to keep herself near her kids, without Lester around. If nothing else, grandparents could take custody and both parents could visit the children there. BUT (so very, very big) in a realistic world, there is no way to be with Lester and the kids both. His child is one thing but not Dan's.

The Lester part is inconsistent instead. And I’m not speaking about their acceptance of the Devil’s bargain, which is stretched but possible, but Lester not swapping the pills. From his standpoint he has won. They are at his mercy and she will fuck only with him. Really there is no reason not to do that but DS wanting to repeat the same scene only to raise money.

I don’t understand people paying yet, really.

I m still of the mind chapters 32 and 33 had to be written by someone elese..the writing style is completely different with a different tone..
