Not to mention, I think most of us have seen that ultra-hot woman who is walking down the street, holding hands and making out with the butt-ugliest guy ever and we go...why? I have known women (my life has been mostly having female friends for some reason we get along better) who treasure a sense of humor or intelligence or height over looks. I don't even try to figure it out anymore, but the one thing I will give Don is that he is showing the change of the chemical exposure of her brain. Things she never liked before, like a hairy nose, are now incredibly attractive to her. The more sex they have that releases that oxytocin and hormones will draw her closer to Lester and she will see things that she once eschewed as what she prefers, as long as it comes with Lester. I know not everyone buys this here, but it is science and I still believe in the scientific method and everything it touches.
I would sign my name under what you have written, because you describe the cloak that envelops love and partnership.
I compare a marriage/partnership/loving relationship to a coalition. In this coalition, both spouses (partners) retain their characteristics (personality), but they make compromises in order to achieve maximum common ground. Of course, this does not rule out change.
In many cases, appearance and physical attributes become secondary, except for one characteristic: character. For this, it is worth changing and tolerating and liking things that would be considered disturbing or even disgusting in other contexts.
... It is precisely this positive trait, commonly referred to as ‘good character’, that Lester definitely does not possess. He has a bad and repulsive character trait and, as a human being, he is beneath contempt, not even found in hyenas in the Serengeti.
He brags about his money and his oversized penis, but he is disgusting, fat and filthy as a pig. He treats his fellow human beings like dirt and the women he hooks like whores. He makes it clear to them that he is buying them with his money and turning them into slaves to his penis.
That's why Sarah's behaviour, her conduct and her actions are irrational. They don't follow any logic. Put simply, Lester has caused her to lose her rationality and common sense, which means she can no longer think clearly.
She has become a shadow of her former self, moving further and further away from the person she once was...
