That's the genre working to the artist's advantage - the conceit is that the "prey" is unaware until the paralytic or other macguffin wears off. Less work for free. But some people are also into that, so it's really not a bother, just preference.

Agree that the gameplay is lackluster. There's hardly time to watch the action because the select screen takes up 80% of play time for multiple choice in two stages! And the choices hardly matter beyond the power-up that actually gets the player more animations. Feels like taking a quiz.

concept is interesting but the gameplay is kinda eh, litterally just click on the card forever and the strategy is just lvl up anything you can get alteration later after everything is leveled up, litterally first try and the whole game is done
