Does anyone know what to do after completing all quests until 49 (included)?
I am already level 99 with all possible H-scenes unlocked for the progress I have completed.
I explored all the map twice and found nothing to do but I still have 3 areas blocked:
  • The door in your home/base after going down the ladder
  • The hidden door in the first region with fog where enemies always chase you (7th save point of first zone)
  • The metal gate in the 7th region at the 9th save point after going:
    1. Right
    2. Up
    3. Down
    4. Right
    5. Up
Not sure if this changes anything but I killed the talkative plant that you give meat in one of the quests.
Also, I noticed that the little kid in the mansion has disappearead but I have not been able to find him.
Lastly, I am missing one of the yellow star bosses and I believe it is the one from the first region because it is the only zone that I do not have the 15 save points all the other zones possess.

Any help is appreciated.

Has anyone taken the game for a spin yet? I was wondering how long it is, since previous SEQUEL games easily break past 20+ hours each. But when I check the DLSite page it says this game provides 30 minutes of gameplay?

Considering the fact that it's a full-fledged Hakika game, how long the translation of the game took, and the fact that the japanese DL mentions "30 hours of gameplay", I'd say it's a pretty obvious that it's just a translation error.

I have the fully translated version from "sub-par translations." Anyone want to discuss the story, secrets they discovered, or ask questions?

Since the translation's only been out for a few days, most people are probably still exploring the game. It's an absolutely massive world compared to SEQUEL games, with almost 700 maps to dig through. Blight, Awake and Colony had just over 400 maps in comparison. I'm over 25 hours in, and still not done!

Casual shoutout to sub-par for the phenomenal translation work across all games, and for continuing to update the terminology for consistency across them. The hero we need.

That said, ASYLUM is fantastic. It feels like Hakika wanted to try out new things without shaking up the main series, thus we got this spin-off. It's a much bigger game, and plays more like a Metroidvania - but still retains a lot of the elements that made his previous games great.

By far and away though, my biggest praise for the game is the combat. If you go into this one expecting to steamroll enemies like in SEQUEL games, you're in for a rude awakening. Enemies hit hard, upgrades are sparse; and if you don't play your cards right, even field enemies will wipe the floor with you.

But at the same time, it doesn't feel like a slog. The number of encounters isn't excessive (and you can just outrun them if you want to avoid fighting altogether), but in return the quality of battles is significantly higher.

Bosses also have interesting mechanics that make them memorable. From the very beginning, the game will teach you the importance of having a frontline, a capable healer, and dealing damage at the right time. Colony had a few of these, but it's tuned up to eleven in ASYLUM, and I love it.

Edit: Oh yeah, the game has some porn too, if that's your thing. I'm not sure, wasn't paying much attention tbh. :KEK:
