I liked that this one was about the same length (~20min) as some older ones like EV 32, 33, and 34. The last couple have all been way longer, hell, even the unseen Terena pov for EV 47 is probably over 30 min long.
I didn’t mind the length either, and the concept was hot too. Really love the way he draws Arika’s face as she’s getting railed behind the door. Plus it’s hot seeing her just let loose with whatever she wants to say since she knows Kurt can’t actually comprehend what’s happening right in front of him because of the magic.
It does make me a bit sad that there isn’t more detail put into the event to differentiate the two viewpoints though. One of the things that made EV32 so hot was that the Kurt side showed a slightly different scene to the Terena side. Completely with dialogue being a little different, but with hints of what was really going on. I know he’s already done this before with the Rietta and Kateve event, where the magic just makes Kurt think this is all normal rather than not see what’s happening, but still.
But it still would've been nice to have that scene of Arika and Bonner fondling each other under the table actually drawn out.
I think Takeda decided to split this Arika event in to two and we will see under the table action in her next scene.
Event 45 ends with Kurt going to talk to Arika about their future in the city.
I suspect that's when it will happen.
I actually think that unused stuff will probably stay unused. The ending to this one both on the Kurt and Arika side seemed to be setting up for the endings I thought. I assume the belt that Kurt is being made to wear will play some part in that as well.
Also I can understand why Takeda didn’t drop the full Terena event but let everyone have this full Arika one. You basically see a bit of the first half, and the entire second half from the Kurt side anyway. The Terena event has animated CG’s we haven’t seen in video at all yet.
