Yeah. He went from screen to screenless tablet. Also, in the case of the RPG, I believe there are multiple animations scenes and he doesn't have enough time to polish the drawings. Remember that before the animations were few and far between, now every scene has multiple animations.
This game. Cuz I’m willing to bet GTA 6 will be delayed, like with GTA 5 and RDR2.
because he is burned with the project, as simple as that. When you have been cooking for 4 years you can end up serving an overcooked product that affects the quality.
All the more reason to give him time imo. Helps him deal with any potential burnout/fatigue. Plus, he's been consistently delivering peak.
That time no longer exists, there are also the expectations of the people who follow his work and have been waiting for the game for 4 years. Even though he is burned, he is trying to finish it in the best possible way to move on to other new projects.
Thanks for the information. It's sad to hear about his shoulder pain. I prefer his old arts than the later ones. They may not have much animation but the quality of each CG is still very good. The new art style looks quite generic and like that of other authors influenced by him. I'm not saying I hate them but they hardly get me excited compared to the old ones.
