From a developer's perspective, it's pretty simple.
He needed as much support as possible as he slowly drew out the game's events for years, so he gave full access to backers.
As the release approaches, he wants the same people to buy the game. So he has to hide some of the content so that people have a reason to buy the final product.

I would believe that, but it's taken years because he constantly takes 3-4 week breaks, and gets side-tracked with other projects. It's not really hiding content when he still gives us the GC/gifs without the video, it's just hiding the plot.

I think the girls POV are more like end game reward/contents especially since I'm seeing a bit of netorase going on, so I get why he doesnt want t spoil us too much. It's more thrilling to not see it early and rewarding when we see it after we finish playing the game.

I've come to make an announcement:

As it has been a while since EV41 and EV42 were made, some may not know about the whole EV41/42 thing.
So, from now on; I turned the second half of EV41 videos back to EV42, so there will be easier to understand them and the subtitles made by Robus77 (or whoever/wherever you got yours from).
Also, I put in the latest EV47 in the same GoFile, along with EV06 that I got not to long ago.
