Takeda is autistic and can't work on the same project for too long.
He gives 2-3 scenes by year so please come back around 2030 to get the game fully voiced with all bonus scenes.

It's last or so days before artists have to finish works for Comiket 106, and we know Takeda also has to draw illustrations for Sister Breeder OVA (and its merch) too. Maybe there'll be streams after Comiket but at least there should be more from him this month

Out of curiosity, when the game eventually gets updated and finished, would I have to play the game from the start again or is there a way to update and continue the game with your previous save file? If so, how would I go about doing that?

It depends on what modifications are made on the game. If it's simply adding content on top of existing one, you can normaly transfer save just fine. If he modifies the game system (variables, switches, common events...) then you can't do that as it may break your save.
If importing save is possible, then it's fairly easy to do.

Let's say you have a save on trial version on file1. Open the released version of the game. New game, save on file1 as soon as possible and close game. Go to the trial version folder, to save folder, copy file1. Then open the folder of the released version and in the save folder overwrite the save file1 by pasting the one you just copied over it. Start the game again and load save file1. It should take you to where you saved on trial version with all your progression.
