No, you should be able to play right away. Maybe you don't have file extensions visible, then it's just Game, not Game.exe?

For the game itself currently only available for the 1.12 demo version, if you see members posting GIFs, videos, and translation script it's for newer scenes that hasn't been implemented yet in game so it's basically just us keeping up with the development progress.
