Why does this weird semi-remake even exist? The original game is from 2019 and is not outdated at all, and this remake does not make it much better. I looked at the gallery, and some of the scenes got objectively worse.

Easy $$$ for the dev (since it comes from a very positively received game of that dev) or maybe the dev is just a perfectionist/ wants some old things in his game changed to be more in line with his vision/ budgetary constraints from before but it only applies to the brothel part of that game. Either way those are just possible theories why he remade a part of a game that is not that OLD.
