Gonna dabble in the first game for a bit. By god, this game's codebase is kinda jank.

The way the game plays is jank too, so that doesn't surprise me lmao. Godspeed, soldier.
The progress bar means I have already translated everything except 48 H lines, and I am appalled at the number of typos that I've encountered throughout the game. The dialogue keeps being indecisive as to whether it wants to use quotation marks or not, Flandre's name keeps cycling between Flan and Flandre randomly, Flandre's line got pasted onto Sakuya without changing the name, the chair switch can be pressed twice for no reason, the dev got bored of writing flavor text for being raped but only started to do it after writing half the enemies, but still somehow managing to write two identical sets of dialogue with different expressions and using the stupidest warp menu logic in existence. The exact same H cutscene dialogue is copy pasted and dropped into three different events and inside the troop script logic, and the enemy behavior is straight up a 45-event table of if-else statements resulting in the most unscalable RPGM game of all time. EDIT: Oh, and the statue made entirely from single tiles, and also the candles that also lit up the base in one room. And the narration somehow being Flan??? What the hell?

That last part had nothing to do with the translation, I'm just mad as a programmer.

I played through with the translation for the first one enjoyed it quite a good deal. I hope the second one is as good as it looks too.

I'll be updating my mod for this game soon. It will come with my full translation. Last story event, 3 bad ends, and the second half of enemies are what's left. Shouldn't take too long.

I've released an update to my mod for this game on , which also comes with a full translation. The early access period is just a week this time is only a week, so feel free to check back in a bit. Or if you want to sub and cancel or something, I'd also appreciate that too.

I'm going to be ramping up development on my other projects after my hiatus here, so look forward to that too.
