Well for example in Bergrisi ruins you normally get the wolf - Kobold scene, but then you go to Yuluyulara and still get that same one instead of the respective scene for that dungeon, same for Dyrabow

And I'm not completely sure about this one, but when you lose in the Royal Castle you get the preg scene, but then when you lose with the boss you get that same scene too instead of the bad ending (I think it wasn't intentended to work like that since there's other scene for a bad ending)

I have certain memories that even in the original game there was some additional scenes that you don't see in the gallery, for example there was one in the desert with one of the things that trap you, but I didn't check tbh haha...

For the other points, It's fine, and I'll tell you if I come up with something else :b
Odd, I'll have to look into that. I can't imagine what may be causing that.
But can't promise many fixes as it sounds like an original bug, but I'll see what I can find.

Incidentally is the script available in text files or anything? I was just wondering.
Was this a question directed towards me? And are you asking if there's translated text that I have in a text file before I put it in the game? If that's what you mean, there isn't. I yoinked out the text for if anyone wanted to help, but then just tl'd it directly in engine.

Again, for anyone going through here, expect spoilers, yadda yadda.

I've played the game some more, and so I've got another round of things to bring to your attention, though this time it's mainly just typos. All of these were found AFTER your second patch was applied.

Current progress through the game is no bosses down, but I've gotten to both Kaotoki City and Katmira City by now. This is why I asked if you got a time frame, since I'm kinda bouncing between things, so my speed is very slow. Anyways, the stuff for you to look at is below.

Thanks again for the finds! I'll get on these typos, and will double check on those names and edit my post about it later.
I'm uncertain if it was a thing in the OG or not, but it's possible that might have been my slip up. Who can say until I look!
I'll also peek at the skill bugs, but yes I've seen that knockdown attack warning not always appear. I'd wager it's something to do with how the engine handles such things.

EDIT: So the naming differences in the base game for villagers does actually exist in the base game as well.
Even looking at Zambora City, the selection text has "Villager X" but will have sometimes specific names at (sometimes) random times. I can't say why this is entirely, but being that it seems intentional, I'm not sure if it's something I should change?

I don't think you should make ALL the names unique, I was more musing on the specific case in Zambora City where there are two orc icons, but the first orc was special named, but the second was just villager C. Thinking on it more, I'd personally just make the selection and dialogue names match and leave it at that. Leave stuff as it is as much as possible when possible, you know? Also, take anything I say as a note or suggestion under a typo or bug or anything else with a grain of salt. Whatever is there is generally the literal first thing that had popped into my head at the time, and hasn't had any further thought put into it, so there's a good chance it's not the best thing in hindsight. My list of things isn't really proofread for anything other than accuracy related to the important information or typos either.

Aaaah, I understand what you meant now. I had entirely misread your first post, and didn't get you were saying villagers names ENTIRELY didn't match. I think I was so tired when I first read it that I just assumed your point was about the orc villager. Apologies, I'll get that patched up hahah.

GAME UPDATE 3! THE SEARCH FOR A CREATIVE TITLE

If you haven't already installed the 2nd update, do that first please.

Please download and unpack this update into the base folder of your game! E.g.: Drag+drop it into the same path as the exe and "Extract here". You should wind up replacing 21 files, if not, you did something wrong.

This addresses:
-Several mismatched names across most villages
-Typos in a couple of villages/cities
-Hentai scene mismatches in Yuluyalara and Dyrabow STG2's, for the Albion boss battle loss, and the Royal Castle boss loss
-Bugs in all skill upgrade menus that would display an incorrect level when upgrading

Thanks for all the reports!

We're here!

Thank you everyone for your patience and encouragement while I was working on this! It has been a very long year of grinding away at this!
This is certainly my biggest project to date, and I still feel like it might show in some spots though ahaha...
Regardless, I'm excited to release yet another TL for this game engine and my first for this dev!

This is all of the game files on their own, so you can just unpack and play! There is LESS of a requirement for Sys Locale/Emulator for this as I basically stripped ALL the JP characters. Other than the names of the music tracks, because, admittedly that just seemed like a bit of a headache and I'm being lazy there. However, the down arrow is also a JP character, so it may be funny without those things! As always, feel free to try, and if it works for you, great!
My recommendation would still be to have it, but, I can't force you.

As with Kemomimi, please post any issues you find! This one is a lot bigger than that though, so you'll have to be EXCEPTIONALLY specific about where you find issues! Screenshots and names of regions you find it in will be a must!
Otherwise, I welcome suggestions, or little quibbles that you find with formatting/text, etc. This will be my dry run before tossing it up on the wider net, so I'd appreciate any notes!
Especially since while I tried my best with playtesting, it is a large game, and I'm certain I missed something somewhere...

If you are curious about world lore, there is a document in the game's directory that is written up alongside the in-game version. You don't ENTIRELY have to get to that point to read it, but I'd recommend it, as it's rather spoiler-y and this game is actually written quite deeply.

There are also some areas, like the H scene gallery, that are also just super fucky because of text limiting. I did my best in that spot!

Also, if any brave artist wants to step up in giving these sprites some more detail compared to how heavily censored they are...
See here for bmps
I'd happily credit you alongside the public release!

But less yap, more fap!
Just extract the game and run as is!

Dude, what an adventure! I never imagined someone would have such dedication... Years of work translating, while I mostly give up after days of work when I port older rpg maker to mz... It is really impressive, like beyond insane the amount of time it takes to translate Aquedi4 games. Plus the dev loves to get creative to bypass some of the engine limitations, so I do get (to some extent) the pain it was to be there.

Quick story short, some friend sent me this game telling me "it looks like the engine you're working on". I was kinda skeptical at first, like an English game in Aquedi4 that I didn't heard of ? I know most of the active developper and it wasn't that touhou game so I thought about it is not. But I took like this afternoon to sort over older files and look at it. And boy, I was very surprised. It was indeed Aquedi4, and most notably it was a very good translation to a level that's rare for Aquedi4 games. I didn't took much time to play the full game, just seeing the work you put into translating the beginning of this game made me look into the original game. No, it was not an official translation. Someone was crazy enough to make the translation in an Aquedi4 game, and it was close to perfection. I needed to get in touch with you, for two main reasons:

- first, I need to congrats you. For real. This is titan work you put, and reading the thread confirmed how a dedication this is. All by hand, without tool assisted auto-translation, this is lunatic level. Very very deep respect for this !!!

- second, the knowledge you gained from translating about Aquedi4 is very valuable to me. All the Aquedi4 experts are japanese and aren't very good at speaking English, so asking then how to and guidance about how to use and translate in Aquedi4 resulted in not much attention. They are only interested in unlocking bigger map, more events (over the 9999 limit) and don't see why translating game is an issue. One also trolled me writing it's whole game in French asking me to translate it to English, but never explained what they use / how they do the translation. I'm still wondering if they do all by hand or not... But you, you have the experience of translating very big game and possible gotcha and issues/things to avoid/best practices. If you're interested by it, I'd be very happy to have some guide on the omoshiro website on how to translate Aquedi4 games. I'm fairly sure Yaku will allow it as long as it's not disrespectful for Anton.

Going a bit further than this, I have the tools to automatically extract virtually anything from the game data, and I think it can also work with the map events. A bit more work is needed to extract the data from the commands, but it's a matter of weeks of work, not months. The good part is that I've also some code to re-pack that currently sleeping. That may cut the need to spend countless hours in the menus of Aquedi4 (how does right clicking that many time feels ? ;) ). But, also, I'm in the process of doing a full engine decompilation+ mapping (on the older version) and from that I can do dynamic text hooking (with shiftjis conversion, god I hate non unicode) so it may be possible in a distant future to even live translate them (but the hook gadget impact is non negligeable, alongside bringing some noticable delay in the gameplay. "It's the engine fault" yet brings nothing to resolve it)

Also sorry about the art being censored, I'm very bad at NSFW drawing (and my anatomy isn't that good). While I could definitely do style imitation to create new artwork, I fear I may not help there. I think there is some deepcreampy model that's used to uncensor images but that's both ai (so against a lot of people ethics) and also pretty old by now (so there should be much better ai things to uncensor images).

Anyways, you did some insane work on this, thanks so much for flying that long translating with Aquedi4!!
