For those who get garbled junk language out of textractor when trying to play this, I found the following advice *mostly worked for me after digging around for hours:

Use Locale Emulator and in the advanced options of the application profile, check the "Fake system UI language" box. See below for a screenshot.

In my experience, the translations out of textractor are still a bit strange, but nowhere near the complete nonsense it was before.

This may also work for other Heiantei games, but no promises since I haven't tried myself yet.

Hope this helps someone save the time I dumped into this lol.
