With how popular Majikoi got you would think there would have been efforts to translate this game hoping someone picks this up +1

Let me tell you as someone that tried for pretty much for full month to try to figure out why it hasnt been translated and the issue that I see is that despite KimiAruji running on the "NScripter 2" engine, the file where the scripts are in " the nscript.dat file " *its not* an actual Nscripter .dat file, like even its Magic Number starts with "YJ5", otherwise the different decompilers for Nscripter out there would have been able to work on it, I think Minato-Soft uses Nscripter as the base engine but packaged the NScript scripts in a custom package file with a custom encryption because is not the usual just XORing Nscripter does to its .dat files so the only way to get this VN into english is like some people/groups has been forced to do is either do a manual engine port (Renpy or Unity) which may be more work but you won't also have to battle try to fit an english translation in it since you will also need to patch the engine to do that too or use an external translator to read along like:
