Is there any word on what the changes were? There's a new enemy and the attacking is a little different, but I'm not sure if there's any new content that was added other than that.

No problem.
It is difficult for me to do it now, and as far as I see the chair (which is the boss of stage 2) was written at the end of 2023 and this as a payment plan what this boss does, it would be better when stage 2 is finished and is already playable. I don't know if you are using Mtool, but if not, I recommend it because it allows you to translate the game easily (even with a basic translator, it's worse than nothing) tricks and so on.
And the new equipments, are objects that facilitate the combat.

Not yet. You can only fight with some enemies like the boss of that phase in the test room, sorry if I express myself badly, is that English is not my native language.

I've been trying to make MTool translate the game, but it just doesn't seem to want to. There's no "translate" tab for mine like there is in the tutorial, so how do I make it actually translate the game?

It's "find the difference" between VR and reality. There are 6 events, 3 of each machine parts (plugs, mask, womb vibrator) and the corresponding VR event (fuck, injection and womb tattoo) and you have to pick the one that is mismatch.
For example if she gets fcked in VR but the plug doesn't activate in reality then pick the plug, or if she gets injected in VR but the mask doesn't activate then pick the mask. If you picked correctly she realize everything isn't real and can activate her spell to breakout, otherwise she keep believing herself to be a slave.

There's a free trial version that the dev released last month. This is the newest version of the game. It's only got enemies from the first area though. KataiS' link just above your post has an older trial version that has either all or some of the area 2 enemies.
Combat kinda reminds me of Ahriman's. Let's hope the creator of this one finishes this and it's not an unbalanced unfinished mess like Knightess Nord(ridiculous how in that one you have various events where you can escape yet it's practically impossible).
