A novel-style RPG where you can do nothing but watch, biting your fingers, as your wife Mariyu is gradually taken from you through photographs.
Synopsis
In a remote frontier village under the rule of a margrave, Nilo works the night shift at the train station while his wife, Marieu, is employed at the village office. The couple dreams of one day leaving the village behind and starting a new life in the city.
Just as they finally see a path to purchasing a home, their hopes are crushed by a sudden surge in living costs. While Marieu's public servant salary remains stagnant, real estate prices continue to soar. Helpless in the face of their fading dream, they endure days filled with frustration and despair.
One day, an out-of-season personnel transfer brings a new senior administrator to the village office. As he takes a commemorative photo with Marieu, an uneasy feeling stirs within Nilo.
Some time later, on his way home, Nilo hears a voice call out from behind him—it’s his colleague, Rifor. Handing Nilo a dropped photograph, Rifor appears particularly interested in the two figures captured in the image.
"Pardon me, but what is your relationship with this woman?"
Rifor has a plan—to gain leverage over the administrator.
In secret, he approaches Marieu with an outrageous proposal: seduce the administrator, record their affair, and use the evidence against him.
For the sake of their dream, Marieu surrenders her body to the administrator.
And as the truth unfolds before him, Nilo can do nothing but watch, powerless, as his wife is taken from him.
