The dev was actually ill for a few weeks (or so he says), so that is supposedly the reason for the delay of the last update (i don't believe that though)...

After i apply your patch i got Uncaught The input is not a PNG file!. Dunno what i did wrong?

Have you made sure you're on the right version(1.03I_3)? It works for me after replacing the files(i had to inject into running game to get mtool to run it), had to do a decent amount of digging to get the latest version. I font know how to upload files so in order to get I ended up searching "RJ28775 ver1.03I_3" to find it and gave me the file with the password "kimichi.info".
