The current issue is that the translation doesn't display properly (a lot gets cut off) the first time you see it, though replaying a scene will have the translation show up properly. Setting DisableTextMeshProScrollInEffects=True didn't solve the problem for me, so I guess I'll wait and see if anyone has a solution or completes the game and is nice enough to upload their _AutoGeneratedTranslations file.

So, you need to change Date Format to Japanese, and it works. Settings > Time & Language > Region > Region format (set to Japanese (Japan))
