As it's been shared here's a pixeldrain and gofile link to a 1.6 version of the game with bepin's autotranslate installed thanks to Henry1887 so give them some love for making the tool instead of liking this post, I have confirmed that it translates but I have not provided an translated text file so will have to wait for it to get translated to see English. I have only tested that it translates the first few sentences of the intro sequence.

Sorry to necro, but, does anyone know how to retrieve the CGs that are behind the animations? I would love to view those separately, but there's seemingly no function in game to view them in the gallery, unless I'm missing something.

To navigate the gallery, use arrow keys, left right to move pages, and up and down to change type of animations from small to large ones

I found the game as well, but i didnt figure out, how its supposed to be played. Whenever I start the first level, nothing seemed to work, no matter how many mistakes I made or what I typed lol. Any tips? Do you need a locale emulator for the game to work?
I haven't used any locale emulator when i was playing it through, Only after I got stuck with gallery scenes I tried ntlea, and it only made game super slow and textless. but you can try, maybe just by having it, it helps
The tip that might help is checking whether any of the game files were deleted by microsoft defender
also, maybe try cleaning the local low files that the game have made, and starting up again

Btw how did you open this gallery? I only have the big one for full screen animations
You can swap to the "little animations" with one of the arrow-keys. Dont remember which.
I'm having the exact same problem and holy shit i'm losing my mind over this. I downloaded the game from different places, changed my locale to japanese, erased save files, everything, but the game just won't work properly.
I was bored and looked into it again. I found out, that you need to change your region in the windows settings to japanese for it to work.
