here, i used saveeditonline.com to change my money before realizing the game had a cheat item for that lol, but didn't touch anything else (pretty sure it doesn't matter, but tho it was worth mentioning)

Worked fine for me, my guess is you have an older version of the game that is missing images.

Don't think so, must have been corrupted then I guess and you are missing images because there are no problems on my side.

There is a filepath in the error message. Did you check whether the image was there?

I can't seem to make save files. Whenever i save, upon trying return the files are no longer there.

What do you mean "no longer there?" You should have a save folder where you can watch the save files being created as you save the game. When do they disappear?

When i make a save file, they are listed in the game as created but they aren't being added to actual save folder itself. For some reason, the save folder remains empty.

Usually a sign the game doesn't have write permissions to the folder its in.

Download from the link dazed sent and click on the "game update" batch file after extracting the game

Seems like the game was updated to version 1.07 back on July 10th. Not sure if it'll cause any issues, but just a heads up for dazedanon.
