I'm checking out the demo and I'm having some trouble with this game.
Going into the menu and all the transitions in the menu take like 5 seconds to load and transitions between areas can take like half a minute to a minute to load.
Is this normal with this game engine? Is this a common problem? Does anyone know a fix?

It needs some love from the dev to run smoother. Not a problem on your side if that helps.

It's worrying how little attention this game has with such a high quality demo and so close to release.
Not really, 2.2k follow it on DLsite and 8.8k have it as favorite. Those are very good numbers. I'm more worried about delayed release dates or very buggy releases.

I mean, no one usually cares about these games until they actually release. This ain't no mainstream AAA title from a storied studio and IP or anything, lol.

People still wait for that shit to get released? Quite the dumb pack if they still need to learn.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of dumb people out there. The hype train is the social aspect, all the speculation, all the rumor/leak hunting, all the cheesy topical posts i.e. "what's the first thing you'll do ingame" that is usually popped by the reality of the actual game, the uneven pace different people go through it, and of course spoiler dodging.

But my point is there usually isn't ant prelaunch buzz for ero games like there often is for major SFW games, and in all fairness I guess there's a lot of people out there who would consider us eagerly waiting for a pron game stupid too. For the record, SFW indie games are also just as quiet. There wasn't nearly as much buzz for BG3, Expedition 33, Balatro, Lethal Company, Among Us etc until after their release and these are considered indie pillars now.

Anyway, I don't think we need to worry. This was the same for many games that would eventually go on to be mega hits in the porn games scene.

I have an easy approach. Don't buy games when they are new, have super low expectations to begin with and try to get them "free" while other fanboys can pay for them so the big studios can proceed with scam like "lifetime services" and what else they dig out their arses.

I mostly stick to old classics. It's about having a good time and waste some more time. I can do that with old stuff.

Best way to go. I like buying games to support devs I enjoy but I usually sample for free first and often wait until they go on sale. Fitgirlrepacks for the win, lol.
