Alright, I figured out a fix for the errors that keep getting thrown. Turns out a few of the files in the MT download are mislabeled so the game can't find them.
First off, go to your game directory and head to www>img>menus>main>commands
You'll see this:
You want to rename them as follows (I personally copied some over from the main yokai busters game so that they'd be translated):
Next, head to www>img>battlecommands
You'll see this:
Rename as follows:
That should have you squared away. Happy fapping, fellow scientists.
