I never followed any specific video, I just read the small bit of text written on the extension that allows you to edit Yu-RIS games, which should be enough.

You have to make sure you create the correct project for the Yu-RIS engine, not only that but once you've modified the game files, the translator will give you options on how to inject those modified files into the game.
