To seal away the resurrected Demon Lord once again, Click—a young man—becomes possessed by the soul of a former Hero.
He gains the Hero’s power... but at the cost of being gender-swapped into a woman.

It's a very specific trope, made famous by Ranma 1/2 & used in games like the NES title Faria & a few other games here, but most focus on corruption vs...well...not. I'm not seeing a corruption tag here, sooo...?

That needless plot point allows for more comedy (eg. omfg where is my thing???) and specifically allows the character to exhibit much less girl-like behavior without breaking immersion.

In the hentai space its kind of taken over the whole "women gets trained with pleasure genre" It seems a lot like a storytelling crutch for why they are weak to pleasure yet still pure before hand. Used to be more with tomboys, but at some point genderswap really took over it. NGL a lot of instances feel almost vindictive, though not sure who at who, they almost alway use the logic of, a man can't handle a womens pleasure so it breaks them, so look down on men? But then another constant in works with the trope are lines like "nothing but a female" "a womens pleasure". They really heavily lay into the "a womens is just for sex and pleasure" mindsets. So looks down on women?
Its often the man turned women is paired with a dom man, though sometimes a dom women. Almost all instances of the trope they are turned into a complete sub, pet or slave.

Its a very very odd trope, as it seems like its for dom men at first glance, but if so why is the sub emphisised as a sub male turned female? It is very offputting for straight men. I have long stated that both games and hentai should try to stick to one sexuality, straight, lesbain or gay. As while many are bi, you dont really need to cater to them, espessaly in short works like a hentai mangas as they often only pair 2 characters for a quick oneshot story, they will get what they want between multiple works and can enjoy any pairing, vs the other groups will end up turned off and chased away. But even in longer series its best to stick to one prefrence as say a game is 90% straight and then there is just a random trap, futa, or just flat male on male scene, most of your players will not be comfortable with that as they are their for the other 90% of the content.

Which is whats so odd about this trope, I am straight and like fem sub, but this trope pretty much elemated fem sub that is pleasure focused. Yes Bdsm, mindcontrol, and other fem subs still exists, but there is a particualr type of training with pleasure type, that is very good, but its monopalized by this trope.

Futa/trans is the combined tag name. It shares the tag with another genre which is transexual referring to gender swaps//transformations. It might be time to separate the tags by now. Not all futa are transformation genre anymore aka a shady potion gives Mara (Shin Megami Tensei demon) to girls.

There's really nothing deep about it like Isekai or harem animes. Creators wouldn't make it if it wasn't a money maker. One of the positives, lots of female voice actresses are getting casted due to this high demand in anime where there are more female roles available.

Well, i'm one of those people who enjoy that genre, so sorry if this game isn't for you...

Absolutely horrible. First fight is spam melee and heal. fights 2-6 are just elemental type counter and heal. Then you have to randomly pick light or dark to go do without the elemental counter so its just the same as fight 1. All the enemies scale with you so you never get stronger. All you can buy is a melee upgrade and defense upgrade. You might as well skip every spell but the last and the second last for buying as they are just the strongest aoe and strongest single target versions. Last boss is just push whatever cause not weak to anything. True last boss is actually just 100% immune to all damage so there is no point in even doing that. Overall a pretty dog water combat system even as far as games where the hentai is the main goal. And as for the NSFW stuff, you're basically in for some of the exact same thing everything else has but watered down so much you might as well just not waste your time. I 100%'d this in a depressed state of mind just to be doing something. Wasn't even worth that.
