i can't seem to figure out how to get any of the girls, I tried following the first one but I either keep accidentally catching up to her too quickly or she locks the door too fast. the fuck am I supposed to do?

You must walk exactly where they walk without delay, because if you walk in a place where they did not directly walk you fail.
