I am pretty sure this WAS Captivity. If you bothered to check his past content, which is posted on Twitter. It was renamed to this, apparently.
Which would make sense. Considering it has very much the likeness to Captivity far too much to not be so, including the fly enemy seeming to be the exact same as Captivity ones.
Alternatively. It is not the same Creator, but someone who took up the abandoned work, that the OG Creator said OK to do so. There is no definite answer, but i lean towards to that the OG Creator came back, and continued his work, but with more ambition and different approach.

Yeah, they wanted to make it Captivity 2.0, as they called it. Yet with the movement and feeling like what I've seen... They simply just won't get it done right. For now, at least. Hope the shooting and everything would eventually get fixed.

I can't get the game to launch. I downloaded it and when I go to launch the game it loads and then it launches and then stops running.

Damn, Captivity was such a good game concept, im surprised that nobody copied it and made it bigger. We have 50 000+ 3D games about incest, it would be cool to get something more unique. I hope this one will not be abandoned like Aishteru.

Fucking seriously. Prowl the "latest updates" page and you can go page after page of the latest 3D visual novel "man returns to school or stays in house full of purely women that have had plastic surgery, oh and people have forgotten the concept of shoes that aren't high heels" game repeated ad nauseam, then we get gems like this and they enter development hell.
I hope this goes somewhere.

Remember to make templates for items/entities and objectify your code.
Just saying this now because technical debt seems to be a big problem with a lot of captivity-like games and that's a good way to stay on top of it.
