By far one of the best slow burn games on here. Of course I wish for faster progress but not at the cost of the art and writing. The only thing that I could request is a small patch to fix Danny's age to what we actually expect it to be. If this wasn't in unity I might be driven enough to learn enough about Renpy to make my own patch (Brings up the question why unity for a VN?).

Again great game and one of the true "high priority" games I look out for.

The story remains interesting, but the gameplay and animated scenes are absent.
I don't think if it continues like this we can appreciate this project (for now it cannot be defined as a game), however, it could still become a masterpiece but from what I perceive I think this dev doesn't have the skills to make it so, I really hope I'm wrong.
Good luck.

That's highly illegal though, basically CP territory.
I think the best way to go around it is by stating his age in the begining and never mentioning it again, just like in every step-cest porn out there, where they need to throw a phrase "i'm not your real mom, i'm your step mom" for legal reasons.
I think even a disclaimer in the begining saying that "every character depicted in the game is 18 or older" something like that would suffice i think.

Depends.

"Currently, countries that have made it illegal to possess (as well as create and distribute) sexual images of fictional characters who are described as or appear to be under eighteen years old include New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa, South Korea, and the United Kingdom."

So not illegal in that many countries.

This fix worked for me on macOS Catalina:

• Right-click the app
• Click Show Package Contents
• Open the Contents folder
• Open the MacOS folder
• Open a new Finder window.
• Go to your Applications folder.
• Open the Utilities folder
• Open Terminal
• Type in (without the quotes) "chmod +x " (note the space after +x)
• Go to the first Finder window without hitting enter in Terminal
• Drag the file with the same name as the app (and without an extension), and drop it into the Terminal window.
• Click on the Terminal window and hit enter.

Then you should have permission to open it.
You absolute legend.

I've tried about a million different ways to fix this and you are the first one that's actually given me the right answer.

Thanks so much!

Still, better safe than sorry.

He was mentioned to be 19 by David when Jessica asked about putting MC in school. I laughed. 19? he doesn't look 19. He doesn't act like 19 years old either.
Not all 19 years old are 180cm tall, som are shorter. And you can go to school if your 19, many people do that.

I think the mc being 19 isn't meant to be overlooked. It's crucial to the story. Why else would the dev let the characters bring it up so often?

I have a theory the dev might make him grow once he finds happiness in his new home because at the beginning of the game it says his condition is linked to his prior bad living conditions. But who knows?

I think all aspects of the game are very good, the renders for example are excellent. But the time of the updates versus the amount of content are a problem, if that is solved we are facing a game that may be among the most successful.
