I remember seeing a preview for a monster girl game where the hero has a sword that revives him after each boss fight, in-between boss fights he had to move between groups of generic enemies, the H-scenes and animations were for the bosses, and among the bosses were a slime girl, a plant girl, and a manticore girl.

I think it was regular combat during battles, with scripted h-scenes if he lost, and I think it was some sort of RPGmaker game.
