Trying to remember text-based game

If I remember correctly the game had you fighting the big bad at the end and after you won, you would be knocked out and wake up in the castle after a long time. It would be in ruin and you could start exploring the decaying halls to fight enemies or leave to descend the mountains to find a town. The town had a dwarf later on you could pay to help restore some functionality to the castle. I apologize if I did not provide enough info it is all I could remember at the time.
