Wish I could rate higher (Art, Characters and Scenes are amazing) but have played through 3 times now and still haven't achieved any ending other than the basic. It seems to get the desired ending you must play with pretty much following the walkthrough with 0 deviations at which point why not just make it a linear VN?

One of the best JP games in my mind, the art, CV and Music all the top, much better than the works of Alicesoft recent years. Animation is famous, but the game is better. Btw the game also has two DLCs, short but also compact.

One of the best VNs from Alice Soft, it probably beats every English language VN on this site by a mile, except games that have a good story other than sex scenes string together. Every route is good in its own right and it even takes into consideration if you are okay with NTR or not so that it doesn't appear on your playthrough depending on your initial choice.

One of the best VN out there. It's in legend class right now. Why? Try it yourself and you will see BTW NTR is avoidable (you can turn it off from the start), for the first run you can go vanilla route, but I truly suggest to try serious route to.

Preamble
This review is pretty much entirely based on my experiences with the game prior to (at least this version of) translation. For that reason, I'm not going to cover the quality of this translation compared with alternatives, nor am I going to talk about the finest details of the dialogue and some of the plot. Full disclosure: I'm going to try to be objective but this is, in my opinion, at least the best Japanese NTR VN/game if not the best altogether. It's a standard by which all other NTR games can be measured, but maybe I'm saying that because all my favorite fetishes are here in one game.

Introduction
Tsumamigui 3 is a game about a guy (who I'll just refer to as Akito from now on) going back to his hometown to visit his brother and smoking hot sister-in-law, Miyuri. There's plenty of people Akito remembers here from way back, notably a widowed, milfy bar owner called Sayoko who Akito has some sexual history with. The game revolves around Akito revisiting his old feelings for these two women, though there are rivals and two additional heroines (Oyakodon, anyone?) who have their own route (non-NTR).

It's all about the game, and how you play it...
The key game mechanics here are: the overworld that maps the town, the passage of time as each day is split up into sections, and Akito's efforts to build his relationships and protect the women from getting fucked by other dudes. As I made an effort to post early in the thread: NTR is completely avoidable via a switch not long after the game starts. Playing with NTR on doesn't automatically mean your rivals are hyper-focused dick missiles and you're doomed, you generally have to make a conscious effort to stay out of the way (but show up at key moments) to see their whole route. Enough about the NTR for one second - your measure of progress and ultimate success in the game is not only based on managing your time and defensive strategy - this game is about impregnation, and it uses a gauge based mechanic to record this. Your jizz and other guys' jizz have different meters for every heroine, which you can view in this handy dandy menu from the overworld along with other vital statistics. Your job is to cockblock and not be cockblocked in turn, whilst making sure you get enough scenes before you're due to go back home so you can impregnate the heroine(s) of your dreams. Simple enough, right?

Cuck or be cucked and some plot information
Both Miyuri and Sayoko are in love with Akito on some level, but you'll have spend time with them, say/do the right things and probably buy some items for you to be able to start free blasting into them. The tension in the plot if you're playing serious mode is that both these women are soft-hearted, leaving plenty of opportunities for other guys to take advantage of them and oftentimes genuinely win them over. Both main heroines and the heroines I'd class as being in the side route have god tier bodies and are basically perfect, fertile housewives/caregivers, so competition is stiff (heh). One thing I should probably cover is that whilst Sayoko is comfortably single following the death of her husband, to be with Miyuri you're going to have to cuck your brother. This, along with her interactions with other rivals in their respective routes, has led some to say Miyuri is too easy and that the plot wonders too far into being unrealistic from an interpersonal perspective. I don't really mind it since the game relies on you leaning into hentai logic (something I'll revisit when I discuss the art) anyway, you just have to consider that both Sayoko and Miyuri in their respective situations, with their softhearted personalities and desire for intimacy (and a kid) are easily swayed. Some NTR routes can be derailed into new routes, so that's one thing to keep an eye out for. The major rival for Miyuri is Takeo, a hung playboy whose dad is the doctor Miyuri works for whilst Sayoko has a little more variety in who can pump baby batter into her. Whoever fucks which heroine, there's usually some build up in the scenes before raw sex can happen. This gives you time to get your shit together or indulge in some foreplay, depending on the situation. Side note: you have to start a route to get cucked on that heroine, you won't see cuck scenes for every heroine automatically and need to be everywhere at once. There's also a path for knocking up both Miyuri and Sayoko if you play your cards right.

Art, and how nobody will ever make a VN that looks better than this.
Tsumamigui 3 is not only Kuroda Akimi's finest work, it's got the best CG of any VN containing hentai and I will die on this hill. The bright, bouncy, shiny visual pop of every woman illustrated in this game is carried into an inspired series of poses and encounters that brings the game of "Wife Eater" (literally Tsumamigui translated) into full focus. Remember how I just talked about hentai logic and how "easy" Miyuri can be perceived as being? The art for me is rhetorical in dealing with this point. In this reflection of a modern setting, Miyuri and Sayoko are so alluring in every image they are presented in that they are both the ultimate prizes and completely vulnerable simultaneously. The mechanics of sperm competition and the presentation of Miyuri and Sayoko work perfectly together. Miyuri isn't easy - she's so naïve, genuine and neglected that you almost can't blame guys going after her and if she's left with no protection, who's fault is that exactly?

I'm going to stop inhaling my own farts and rambling now. Let's talk more about the CG itself.

The ass and especially titties in this game are top shelf stuff, with special mentions to the way fluids and items of clothing like lingerie are depicted. There's lots of fun angles of dick in pussy but the service scenes shouldn't be overlooked. Chiefly, the game has some of the best x-rays or cross-sectional views you could ask for. If you like seeing cervixes, Tsumamigui 3 does not shy away at all from embracing the impregnation mechanics by showing you dicks nutting right in there. This is also where hentai logic comes into play, the game takes liberties with how cervixes work and the pain associated with "kissing" them with a dick. Lots of scenes play out as though that will be the one that fertilizes an egg, but they're all in service of the spunk gauge. Cervixes lower and open for dicks they like, which is kind of how some of the seduction and impregnation progress is justified.

A quick (for me) note about the NTR style
Getting NTR'd in this game is really about losing your place in the heart of a heroine that was holding out for Akito, but if you ask me, there's something really primal and effective about losing their bodies to pregnancy too. Miyuri and Sayoko genuinely come to love and accept some of the rivals, which will really bring out your masochistic side if that's your thing. Seeing that meter build and character attitudes change over time really hammers home the "stolen" feeling. To get exactly the route you want, you might need a guide on how to manage your days, and that's really one of the only things I don't like about the game.

I stop typing before things get any worse...
I can go on and on about this game and how I keep coming back to it but I'd be really stretching the definition of "review". And I haven't really even talked about the pure love (or Netori - you do the wife stealing) routes and how great they are. This game nails the Netorare-Pregnancy-X-ray trifecta for me, but I do think it's such a well-made and pretty game that it's had to argue with the ratings it gets on VNDB. If you can stomach the whole time and place management thing, there's some of the best NTR content you will ever see, bar none. If you like NTR, play the NTR route, you won't regret it.
