I dislike this developer. When the first Tunnel Escape was released, Elzee even advertised and distributed uncensored patches on cracked game websites.Tunnel Escape was for a while in /Translation Requests.
Think thats a good summery please let me know if I forgot shit.
- The Japanese version (later English version) got shared there.
- The dev decided they didn't like that lol. Asked to stop sharing it and got an obvious "no".
- Came back to insulting everyone, while Elzee deleted all msgs and got banned some quotes can still be found here. Also the whole lore should be in that thread.
- Started to implement a "Code" DRM where you have to input a code that verifies online.
- If its wrong at some point it could seriously damage your PC - this was implemented as the new code obviously was shared with the game
- Got Patreon and (I think Itch too) suspended because the game was reported being dangerous what was correct
- "Downgraded" the code to only may corrupt/deletes saves.
- "Downgraded" again to only close the game, that was the last version before it got cracked.
- All the above, well to nobodies surprise fucked the subs too
- (Note all the Code stuff is from Memory I could be slightly off)
- Ohh btw Elzee blames pirates for the code shit, that WE implemented the dangerous version of the code DRM
- I think we only got like 2 or 3 cracked version until the stream release happened anyways.
- Now the game is published by Saikey Studio whoms even has an account here. And the game on Steam is DRM free too LMAO

y r u even here in a thread of one of their games? though i'm not sure, i don't think they're using same method of the first game with this one (correct me if me wrong), i hope ppl would already let it go, they r not the first to try warding off piracy, and i wouldn't blame them for it

Once again this dev updating content every 2 weeks compared to other way more funded games that those devs always suck up the money and delay or give up
The game only has one dlc? This. I think I just saw pictures of a different character, or was it a special edition of the main game?

Damn I'm gonna wait for a decensor patch my greatest of all pet peeves is Censorship I Fucking Hate it more than listening to the annoying sound loop from Dumb & Dumber for an hour straight.
Stop understanding game designers and understand pirates.
People who pirate, whatever their reason for pirating (can't afford it/justify the expense/refuse to pay for things they can get without paying/whatever the reason) do not start paying if you somehow make it inaccessible to them (good luck with that, anyway). They just go somewhere else.
Additionally, you need to realize that, whether you want people to get it for free or not, there is value in people acquiring something for free. Sometimes people are, like, "wow, this is good! I should give them money for this!"
They're only going to do that if they play it, and, as noted above, pirates aren't going to be playing it if they can't pirate it.
You also have to realize a lot of h-games are hot garbage, and if you find that out by PAYING for them...? And then you can't get your money back? (DLSite doesn't have any refund policy as far as I was able to find when I went looking for it, for example. Meanwhile, Steam's sucks.)
I'm in one of those first two categories in the parentheses, but even if I were rolling in money, I still wouldn't want assholes who make trash and try to pass it off as good to get money, so I'd still pirate and then give money to the people I thought deserved it.
