13-15% of women versus 20-25% of men cheat. It gets even more extreme as people get older: 9% of women vs 25% of men over the age of 65.
No particular excuse outnumbers every other reason given, but that doesn't mean they're equally weighted. Men are five times more likely to identify "sexual need" as the primary reason for their infidelity than woman are. Women by contrast are twice as likely to identify emotional involvement as the primary reason for their infidelity. That being said, I see that the data I had previously been using are outdated, and that emotional need is only the second most common reason (with attraction being the top reason given)

I do have to wonder how much of this is how likely people are to either have the chance to cheat, be approached by someone looking for them to cheat, or actually seek it out themselves.
Like with older women, since generally older women are less desirable, they may be getting approached by people, they may actually still be just as likely to cheat.
There's also probably more people who might be willing to cheat in certain circumstances but who haven't done it in the past.

I would also consider the big city effect, it's not the same cheating pct in a 5+ million citizens place than a 120 thousand people, things work extremely different, because privacy, risk and consecuences work extremely different. In a small city, all your social circles will know about it sooner or later, so its pretty discouraged making it less common.

I'm not really keen on getting into these verbal battles, but how in the world does this data even begin to get fact checked? Like you're expecting people to honestly self report on cheating? Particularly women who have a much higher risk of social ostracization if found out.

There's some massive assumptions going on here. Your argument is predicated on the idea of those women were even in a committed relationship at the time. The statistic is 25% inflated, 8% vs 10%. You're assuming that women use contraception at a higher rate when they're cheating vs being loyal.

No even in couple at least where i live and in my case, we waited 8 years to have a child, because of work and daily life somethimes it's not the right time (everything isn't sex related even if it's part of the building).

Geez this conversation is way too heavy for a goofy little cartoon game involving giant dicks and torrents of cum inflating condoms like clown balloons. The real-life social or political issues being lobbed about are not a consideration for anyone enjoying this game. It is a comedy, not a tragedy. The difference, of course, is whether the characters involved are virtuous or vicious and I don't see much virtue here.
Again, you have to count the big city effect that will affect your perception of how common cheating actually is. And also, you have to count the "youtube men rage" and "porntube" effects that makes you think everyone is cheating all the time. The reason why real life don't look even remotely close to AVNs is because women's biology pushes them to search for a real project with a real man, and when they find this out, they do settle for years without cheating. It's not natural for women to do the bimbo+whore thing, that is socially induced behaviour that creates LOTs of trauma to those women, and that is why it's kinda spread but not even close to be the norm. As you grow up, cheating is different, less common and more of a one time event or one small period of chaos to introduce excitement in your life. Everyone has lifes full of entaglements, familiar, friendships, financial, psychological. Everyone hormones do not peak so high. Etc... This makes the final percentages reduce, masking what you actually experience in your 20s.
Anyhow, if you are in your 20s in 2023, you should be working your ass of into becoming someone, puting your D in everything available that comes close to you without any single trace of doubt, and using relationships to learn about them as an observer rather than being the pathetic platonic lover, otherwise you will never be prepared to handle women's reality when the time comes.
