Damn, this story is long as fuck lol. I played the Sophie pov up to the point where she is about to like really start cheating. Then I got curious and went back to the Felix pov and planning to play that to the end first.
I feel like Felix POV is all build up and very little payoff. I imagine until the endings, the eroticism is basically contained to being gaslighted because there are no scenes to speak of. Yes, the mystery aspect and the little tells in how Sophie acts do succeed in building up the NTR vibes and is even hot on its own, but the issue is that this game is on the realistic side. Felix cannot be subjected to anything that breaks plausibility in how he reacts, so in essence, he doesn't witness anything that can be considered as a scene. So the Felix POV plays like just a set up and enhancer for the Sophie POV you are supposed to play after. That's fine... but it's a bit daunting to play this long ass game multiple times on both routes.
I think in terms of game design, MMC vs All POV is superior to MMC vs FMC split. Glad the new game did it like that.
To be honest, I think the actual best NTR design is male MC POV with accessible recollection room/gallery. It let's you play according to your mood. This way, you can just read the story without needing to really fap on the male MC perspective which lacks proper scenes, but when your curiosity gets unbearable or if you want to fap, you can open the gallery and watch her scenes.
Edit: Btw, I just checked Azienda's patreon and they got 1500 paid members, with minimum subscription being $5. That's incredible. This is a true western porn developer success story entirely based on quality and work ethic. They came into the scene by dropping a fully completed game My Mother Kyoko, which was a damn good mom NTR game. Then they worked their ass off for the next game and finished it very fast. But their patreon was sitting at like $300 a month or so after the first two games despite those being top tier Japanese style NTR works from a western dev, something quite rare back then and still is. I can't remember if the training montage where they took some time off to perfect their craft came before or after Turning the Page, but I'm glad they are seeing the fruits of their labor now.
