I really like playing through html games. The text nature of it just feels nicer over other forms in a general sense. But I've had a problem of my saves disappearing when moving my PC twice now. I will soon be moving my PC again, and so I want to get ahead of the issue and somehow export all my sugarcube saves.
From what I see in my search, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated save location. The saves are kept in the local storage of the browser? I understand this but being unable to find this local storage location (or any information on it) is very annoying. I'm sure there is a specific location, albeit probably with obscure file names. I even remember somehow getting to these files previously (tho I might be confusing something else here).
Is there any way to access sugarcube save files? Specifically in firefox?
Bonus question: assuming I copy these files to the new PC, if I'm exporting from windows to linux, do you reckon there will be any compatibility issues?
